a warm farewell - September 1, 2009
last night was my last night at the "ace" for a while, at least. well it sure was fun, with so many good musicians, good singers and good friends. mr. house said i'm welcome back anytime, and for sure, i will be back there- at some point. thanks to everyone who played, sang, listened or came by, not just last night, but for friday nights in general, over the last...five years! i've made many great friends there, and musical connections that will stay with me in europe and beyond...in fact, i'm thinking of starting an open-mic in rome, which they have very little of. what better way to meet all the musicians and songwriters of the area? stay tuned...
