Adam,
My friend Joe in Austin TX really liked your CD's. They were in the car most of the week during SXSW09. We need you to come back to Italy. We miiss you dearly. I also played your CD for my friends Fabio and Mario in Foggia, It. They were very impressed and would like for you to play Foggia when you return. You know you have a place to stay at my house. The door is alway open. Libby and Piper would love to see you. Fabio was suprised to see the photo of you and Libby in my garden on your website. Joe will put you up if you get to Austin. Joe is a big TVZ and Steve Earle fan. He will take you to the best veggie places to eat. I was just on SKYPE with Alfonso and Fabio was at my house and changed my strings. Fabio set-up a gig at Alfonso's after the live performance from Foggia to Napoli cast via SKYPE. We are living it large. Come join up when you can. I hope all is well. Your friend (even if that is no good) Tim.

Adam, I had a great time during your last visit to Naples. Too bad we did not do the Naples underground. Maybe next trip. I'm looking forward to the trip to Rome to see/hear your other musical friends. BTW it rained today so we DID get the best day of the week, you were wise to stay the extra day. I hope your new song is a success either way it turns out. Drop by when you need a good meal. Bla bla blog.... :~) Tim

The melodica is a free-reed instrument similar to the accordion and harmonica. It has a musical keyboard on top, and is played by blowing air through a mouthpiece that fits into a hole in the side of the instrument. Pressing a key opens a hole, allowing air to flow through a reed. The keyboard is usually two or three octaves long.
Previously used primarily to teach music fundamentals to children, the melodica was probably first used as a serious musical instrument by jazz musician Phil Moore Jr. on his Atlantic Records album Right On, 1969 (SD-1530). It is most often associated with Jamaican dub and reggae musicians in the '70s, most notably Augustus Pablo.[1] Henry Slaughter (of The Imperials) played a melodica solo on "I'll Remember You," which was recorded by Elvis Presley on June 10, 1966 and appeared on the album "Spinout."
